IntroductionWell. I have to say welcome to this new Barahir site, though it has nothing to do with the LOTR. One of the main reasons to create this site is to have a new home for stuff that I have done and other cool new stuff that I will be doing. Unsure what that really means at this point because I only have uploaded a few photo albums, papers, and documentations of Lyric C++. Before I switched to the current ISP for web hosting earlier this year, I used to have a site called MaxNuke which was powered by PHP-Nuke. However, it turned out unsuccessfully because none of my friends had the time to post and most of us already a fan of Slashdot. Not that I didn't like having a fully powered CMS supporting the site, but by losing the database would mean losing all the contents. Also when I lost contact with my old ISP and the server didn't work for login, I lost all my PHP-Nuke settings too. So here I am with another static version of my own personal site, after the success of CEHT @ Palace and the not-too-successful MaxNuke. It is so much easier to maintain this site now because I know html and css inside out. If I really want to do something nifty I can always write a script in PHP to grab data from XML and generate it whichever way I want. So have a wonderful day and see you around!
